Data sources
Supported databases and warehouses, and how Northlight connects to them.
Northlight connects to these sources, all available today:
- Postgres: versions 13 and later.
- MySQL: versions 8 and later.
- Cloud warehouses: with a service account that has read-only access.
- CSV upload: up to 200 MB per file.
Network access
Allow connections from Northlight’s fixed IP addresses, listed in Settings → Data sources. For private networks, use an SSH tunnel.
Schema descriptions
Add a short description to important tables and columns. Northlight uses them to understand your data and gives better answers.
