For the last year, people asked Northlight one question at a time. It worked, but real analysis is a conversation: you see a number, you ask why, you split it, you compare. Today we are bringing that conversation into Northlight.
A chat that keeps context
Open chat from any board and ask “How many trials started last week?”. Then ask “and how many converted?”, then “only on mobile”. Northlight keeps the thread, so each follow-up builds on the last answer.
Every answer still shows its work
Chat answers are not a black box. Under every reply you will find the query that ran, the rows it used and a short confidence note. Edit the query, rerun it, and the conversation continues from your version.
Pin what matters
When an answer is right, pin it to a board or send it to Slack. Pinned answers refresh on their own, so the board stays current without anyone rebuilding charts.
